I would recommend the Procomp lift kit. (BDS is a knock off of the Procomp)
When I was looking for a 6" lift for my truck I looked at all of them.
RCD & Rough Country has had some issues with durrability.

Zone (sort of inline with the Rough Country kits) is the lower affordable end of the BDS line.

Fabtech has been on scene for years and is one of the original Tacoma 6" lift along with Procomp. But they do not lower the front diff as much as BDS or Procomp. (The CV angles are not as good as the BDS and Procomp)

    Consider BDS vs Procomp:
BDS & Procomp? Very similar in design and quality.
But BDS is more expensive. So value wise Procomp has the edge. (Also design wise) I'm not a fan of the nut certs that BDS uses. I prefer the nut plate that Procomp provides.
BDS uses only a large block to lift the rear. Where as Procomp uses an add-a-leaf and a smaller block. (A bit more stable IMHO)
Both kits require that you weld on steering limit plates. (Or rough country sells a bolt on plate)
As for C/O for the front? Both kits can use any 6" lift C/O you want to install.
I decided on the Fabtech "Dirt Logic" C/O because they are Stainless construction. (I hate crawling under the truck to clean the C/O's.) and C/O start looking like crap really quick if you don't take care of them.

But either way you can't go wrong with either kits. They are both solid kits for our trucks.
I just think price wise and design the Procomp is the better value.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for info. I definitely didn't know about the AAL in the rear for the Procomp. It definitely sounds like a better ride.

I'm planning to use ADS shocks with this kit. I hear good thing about them, especially against the rust up north.

To adjust your head lights take like 2 min. Really easy! As long maintain the rake of the vehicle you really don’t need to adjust.
People who do the leveling kit have more of a need to adjust their lights.

Just thought I’d post to let the haters know I’m ruining my truck today with $60 hockey pucks.

I had to buy a sway bar relocation kit since mine is now slightly touching the coils causing a pretty bad squeak. $30 and should be an easy fix.

Installed my own 2" Rough Country (Like $50) + Rear 1.5" (Ebay $60 Block and hardware) + Alignment = Rides no problem. Good enough until I decide to upgrade the stock suspension after 60k.

Rear Brake lines were a little stretched so I bought a $20 kit to fix that.

Blocks are fine so long as you are not bouncing off of big rocks, or driving batshit down a bumpy road in Moab.

Did it help? I've had a clicking/clanking metal contact sound every time I cross a water trough dip making a left turn. Toyota "couldn't find it". I've checked all the body mounts like others posted. Maybe its this. Was there obvious contact visible?

I was sure it was a bushing on the UCA at first but I decided to take the wheel off and inspect my install just to be sure. The sway bar is about a few millimeters off the coil when it is parked on level ground but once the truck leans or moves it makes contact. It should be pretty obvious if it is your sway bar. If it's been happening for a while you'll also see friction marks.

OK thanks. I'll have a look. $30 bucks might just do it anyway.

Old post but I just installed a 2" spacer kit Saturday and it does exactly what I wanted: leveled the truck. Your LCA has no clue if it's a spacer, coils or a piece of 2x4 so what's the difference?

I put a 1/2 block on my previous sr to level it and I NEVER went of pavement or jumped it... it served my purpose at all... it all depends on you use.... it feels like politics. You install spacers you die haha come one... it is not like that.

Idk why everyone says that a 2 inch spacers lift makes front of truck sit higher then back , mine doesn’t before lift I had around 2.5inch difference between front and back and now after I did the 2 inch I have a little less then a .5 inch front rake compared to back , which I’m fine with cause you don’t really notice it . To me truck sits level without having to add 1 inch blocks to rear
