What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I got a oem used steering wheel for a 2014 corolla from a salvage yard with the air bag. I then upgraded the steering wheel to this one from Ebay.

Fair enough. I’m thinking I’ll feel the same. Maybe someday I’ll splurge on the $2000 total chaos stock length LCA to pair with some nice King’s up front. That would make maintenance a breeze

I did my valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gasket a couple months ago and noticed the p.side was seeping a little bit so i ordered another 45$ gasket and took my time.
When these were done before i kinda rushed the p.side. i dis an extra ocd job on brakleening the cylinder head of oil and the valve cover. This last pic is where is was seeping. Im HOPING the rtv just didnt set right or i had dirty hands putting things back together.

Now its personal every one... You've seen mud thirstys INSIDES

Did the differential breather mod. Easy to do. If need be can adjust to give an additional 3-4” of slack at diff.

 

I eliminated the need for a mod...for now. Been planning for a tailgate reinforcement plate. No Longer Necessary. Costabout the same. (yeah, stole it...)

 

Clear vinyl on the shell roof where the rear awning sits and rubs the paint.

 

Got bored so I tried this version of anti-glare with plasti-dip
Tape lines aren't perfect but not bad and I can always pull it off

 

I didn't have a need for tailgate einforcement plate but did anyway & loved it for past 3yrs! @Mobtown Offroad FTW!

 

I'm gonna do something like that when I I finally get my scooped hood!
