Actually, I think it was more of a bias ply vs radial debate. That said, I think of the OGT as kind of the reverse of Todd's F150. Sure, it's 4WD and it can go off-road, you just don't want to do it very often if at all. The OGT is about 90% trail rig and about 10% hauling crap too big or dirty for the T4R or going to TW show and shine meets. She pretty much a tow rig away from being a trailer queen, haha, so I'm not so concerned about ride comfort on the street and the bias plies ride just fine on the trails.

Well... I went ahead and started the process for a garage today. Got approved for a construction loan and picked the sizes.

It's going to have an interior size of 24x41 with 12' tall sides, plus have a 12 foot wide and 41 foot long lean-to off of one side. 10x10 garage doors on each end to drive through it. And one walk in door on the side.

I go tomorrow to pick the colors and have the building drawn up so i can get sealed plans for permitting. Probably take around 6-8 weeks to be complete.

Would of went bigger... But $$$. And i really wanted the 12 foot wide lean to. Park my 16' boat under it and put my grill under there too with a picnic table. No more getting rained on while grilling will be awesome.

Did you trade in the Taco?

    ---

Ordered my 36s today. @allenfab , say, you wouldn't happen to want to unload you old spare 35 would you? Either that or I need to find a worn down 37 for a 15 or 16 inch wheel (I have both both a 15x8 and a 16x8 for a spare).

Just an update... I went and picked colors, signed contacts and had the building drawn up. Tomorrow if they're open i go to the building department to find out what i need for permits and what they are going to costs me on a detached garage. Hopefully not too much LOL.

These are the colors i have chosen. Color choice or adding a Wainscot around the bottom doesn't cost any extra. Which is nice. The roof will just be galvalume. Wanted something that would reflect as much Florida heat as possible.

24x41 with 12x41 lean to. 2 10x10 roll up doors, 1 walk in door... Price Including the building, 6" concrete slab, sealed plans and taxes... Pretty much everything except the permits, came to $21700.
