12 days!!! Rumor has it Lee may be the better QB for us this year. I still call him "Pick 6" until he can prove me wrong by playing consecutive GAMES without one. I love my Tigers, but why did the Dodgers have to draft the other Lee???

Oh yeah and this guy is excited and is spending alot of time with Garett Gilbert.

 

Well I found one of a non-kicker for ya swendling.....I just don't want to get people scared of playing my Jayhawks so I try and limit my pics to just kickers and such. The element of suprise is what I'm going for.

No Quarterback? We have 4 prospects, two with good game experience. It's Pelini's pattern to not announce a starter until the first game.

This is from today's practice:

"He had no meaningful update on the quarterback situation. Asked if there was a chance Nebraska could rotate quarterbacks this season, he said, “There’s a chance we could play 10 guys. Anything can happen.”

He said we’ll find out the starting quarterback on Sept. 4 when Nebraska opens the season against Western Kentucky.

“I’m not answering any quarterback questions,” he said."


We have no more injuries than any other team right now. Fall Camp was hard on all of the teams this year.

And yes, I have to be optimistic, the better our football team does, the better chance I'll get a bonus/raise from work. If the team does good, then fans buy lots of husker stuff, the team sucks it up, like during Callahan's reign, then they don't really like to advertise that they are a husker fan.

A redshirt Oregon State University football player has been dismissed from the team after police say they found him naked and intoxicated in a stranger's home and had to use stun guns to take him into custody.
Corvallis police say they received the call about a naked intruder early Sunday.
Lt. Tim Brewer says responding officers ordered 19-year-old Tyler Patrick Thomas of Kalispell, Mont., to get on the ground.
He says Thomas refused and instead dropped into a three-point stance like a football player and lunged at the officers. At that point, Brewer says, two officers fired their stun guns.
Brewer says Thomas ''absolutely was intoxicated.'' Thomas was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
A home phone listing for Thomas couldn't be found.
OSU athletics spokesman Steve Fenk says the redshirt freshman offensive lineman was dismissed from the team Monday.

 

Getting tasered by one cop would suck, but 2 at the same time? What a douche bag, guessing he was more than just drunk.
