Good morning Ken, I turn 70 in August. Not too far away at this point. You know you are getting old when you get up at 05:30 so you can weed from 7 to 9 before it gets too hot.

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. My cousin and her husband came over for dinner. We had a nice time. Fired up the kettle grill for a prime rib I had then while eating dinner I cooked up some chicken for today. If you have a Weber Kettle and want to make it do even more invest in a Slow and Sear. Best $99 I ever spent for an accessory. High quality product and opens up new ways to cook on your Weber.

Needs to stop raining for a while. I am in the process of replacing the sand in the paver joints then sealing the pavers on the front sidewalk. Kind of unsure about this plyometric paver sand. I can clean and sand the pavers myself but I need my son's help to apply the sealer. I need a different type of sprayer since the sealer is solvent based.

Got my neighbor with that scam. Cost him a bunch of money cause they wiped his hard drive clean. New computer, contact and change all accounts and credit cards and je does all his financials on Quicken so fortunately they had a back up for him (of which he had to pay to get it from the cloud) but no back up for all his other stuff. I've gotten the same messages before and restart and run the virus scan and have not had any issues(so far). Wish I had the technical ability to write a program to infect the scammers computer and wipe his drive out.:) Have a great day all.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
I wonder if some calls I get on my old tech rotary phones are meant for cell phone users as when I answer, no response, no fax noise. Guess no one wants to talk to me. Boo hoo.
Quiet 4th here, no illegal fireworks, couple neighbors who have second home/vacation home here were up. Out of 13 of us on our private road, seven are used as a vacation home, Air B&B (sp)? or camp spot.

:woot: Just tested the electric start I installed on the 30hp Merc., it works! :yay:

Just read an article where they are looking for a woman in Lufkin TX. They have a video of her opening up a container of ice cream, licking it, and then putting it back in the freezer. Looks like it's soon time to put ice cream in tamper proof cartons to deter idiots like her, wondering how many other idiots like her are around, probably way more than we realize.

Yes Carl, you're right. You are only the second person to notice it on TW. Don't look for another one, that one was my highpoint.

So, there's a family of Mennonites that come to our area every weekend and sell their goods.
Jams, jellys, bread, pies, fruit and vegetables...etc.
My wife is a fan if what they have to offer and that's fine w/me.
Here's an example of the difference between mass produced
    and Mennonite produced.
    There's quite a difference!

Hot and humid with sporadic thunder storms today. Raining on one side of the city dry on the other.

When I get a ransom ware notice I just restore from a previous restore point. I create a new restore point every day. So far no problems.

Hello everyone, I will be 61 in February I have always liked Tacoma's but just never bought one until my heart attack last April.

Totally unexpected and made me think just why am I working so much and saving for that "rainy day"?. Since I had been searching for a couple of years for a Tacoma or a Harley I found and bought my 2 year old Tacoma 20 days after my attack and first stent.

I decided against the Harley due to the traffic in my area so the truck it is, traded in my 04 Ranger and $24760.00 for a 17 Tacoma Sport 4x4 with 23600 miles on it. It's more than I wanted really and I am still discovering new things about it that I never knew it had
except I wish it were blue.

It's kinda strange but when I got the truck home and was going through the manuals and dealership maintenance receipts I found a doctor's receipt from the previous owner, it turns out that he was 71 years old and was also having heart issues and he had a bypass in 2017.

After driving the truck for 2 years he traded it in for a Kia and that's where I found the truck ad online at a Kia dealership about 1/3 mile from where I work.

It's really is a small world.

Welcome to the porch Chris, your turn to fill up the cooler now!
That working so much gets old, time to take it easy if possible, gotta go now---it's nap time!! :D

Darn, just looked at a starting battery in another boat, it's 6yrs old and maybe time to replace it. I have it on charge now, might be good for a few more yrs and maybe not! :notsure: If it were in a vehicle when I hunted Maine, it would be replaced without question before heading up there.
