Yeah, I was not going to do much more then a bed mat and tint, $12k later, those are pretty much the only two things I have not done!!

Your going to love them! You got off easy I had to wait like two months lol! What ones did you get? I got all black perforated leather.

 

It’s not too bad. Took me like two hours. It will be beneficial to have a helper when doing the front two seats. Good luck!

Late 4th of July post so hope everyone enjoyed it, but painted the day away myself. 11 coats of matte dip, 3 coats of Glossifier/UV protectant. Painted the backing plate for the grill as well. Honestly first time working with the dip coat, and can say it actually does a pretty good job. That’s if you properly prep and lay the correct amount of coats. Visually perfect. Product is pretty legit to the point I feel bad for talking it down all these years. Now let’s see how long it lasts and holds up to the road debris

 

I'm considering Katzkins, but i've had good results with Roadwire. I'm not a big fan of where Katzskin puts their tag on the lower bolster.

The ones with the name that sounds like a pasta sauce are a no go, Stevie Wonder could tell they're slip on covers

I've been trying to convince myself to do this to my grille but i'm not super confident I'll do it well and it'll look like crap and then I'll have to spend $ to get a new one lol.

 

You can just peal it off if it doesn't work out. I recently tried to do my chrome surround and didn't like how it look so I removed it. Took about 30 minutes to get it all off because some got into tight places. The big sections come off in one piece.

 

The best part about it. You can’t really mess something up to the point you’d have to replace it. That’s the good thing with this product. Layer it up with minimum six coats, and if you don’t like the way it looks, it just peels right off. Just make sure you clean the grill well prior to get rid of grit, grime, oils, etc. If you want to stay on the cheap side of things worried it won’t look good, 7 bucks a can at your local Home Depot and a couple hours of time. You don’t even have to use the Glossifier if you don’t want. No pressure here, but you’ve got nothing to lose! Good luck

Over this past week added @victory4x4 roof rack and @Mobtown Offroad sliders.

 

Today, I applied an annual coat of Meguiars Headlight Coating to the front and rear lights on my 2018 Pro. This product was recommended by Scotty from the Rev Up Your Engine YouTube channel as a way to keep them from getting UV damage. He said he’s used it for years and the plastic lens look just like new. It is a clear coat for your lights. Got it off Amazon for $8. While it received 4.5 stars, some negative comments included that it bubbled when applied and looked hazy. I experienced neither problem and I made sure that I taped off to prevent overspray. Thought with all the postings regarding high end lights someone might consider this product.
