    Long shot and long post:

I’m reaching out to see if anyone is in the Kansas or Missouri area that either works at a shop or has the ability to help me install suspension parts on my 16 taco.

I’m currently all stock. I’m just trying to level out the truck right now. I am saving to do a king suspension next fall so this upgrade is to be budget friendly right now. This is basically all just for looks and not really performance.

I’m either going to do bilstein 5100 In front and rear and upgrade springs in front or considering doing a leveling kit. I’ve also considered Eibach shocks and springs for their great reviews as well as million mile warranty they speak of.

I do not Off Road often right now (only had the truck a month and half) nor do I tow or heavy haul. I planned on just leveling it but some have said stay away from a level kit. Truck currently has 39k miles on stock suspension which is why I considered the shock upgrade.

Taking any suggestions as well as install help. I’m willing to pay of course but if it’s normal shop price then I’ll just do it here at a local shop instead. Will be down on Kansas in week and half!

Oh I plan to. Just not right now. Between expenses of just getting the taco plus a newly purchased engagement ring; can’t afford 6 inch  so an even lift will do for now

He’s actually offered before but is in St. Louis. Which will be about 4 hours from where I’ll be. So I may not get to it next week but possibly will plan a trip out there later in the month. Plus I need a good meet up!

Understandable! I wish I could find some local guys around here but nothing. In Phoenix I had tons of people I would meet with and work on trucks and cars. Miss those connections lol

Adventure Motors in Lee's Summit, I think 4x4 Land in topeka......I'd be down except I've had my ass kicked by the HC bumper modification lately....

    I’ll look into those spots!

I’m not even starting a bumper project yet

Shoot me a PM, I'm in the Kansas City area. I did my 5100's in my driveway and have done plenty of wrenching on my older 4Runner. I'm no mechanic, but I'd definitely give you a hand.

That’s what will probably end up doing. 5100s with ome springs or going with Eibach pro set up. I don’t need an AAL or uca right now as I’m only running 265/70/17 tires and I don’t do hauling or heavy loads whatsoever.

If you are going to install new springs at the same time, you may be able to have them pre assembled. Save some time, and the headache of the spring compressor.
I know @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc will put them together for a small fee with new hardware before they ship em to you.....

100% agree! I got mine from Headstrong Offroad pre-assembled. Front/Rear plus an AAL and a test drive around the block only took 4 hours.
