Hate to bother the experienced guys with tons of modifications done to their trucks to allow them to ride anywhere.... but is this something a stock trd off road could go to and enjoy without destroying things? Been looking and looking for places to go without having to drop 5,000+ on my truck 2 weeks after I bought it. Can upgrade over time :). Thanks for your time

Honestly I have no idea as I’ve never been to the park. Where are you located?

Yes. I’ve been there a few times. They have trails from mild to wild. And they do a good job and creating groups based on experience and armor. Please attend, you won’t be displeased.

There are soooo many stock friendly trails at windrock. Its 72000 acres and 300+ miles of trails. You will be able to link up with others there that have stock vehicles as well. As far as bama goes in the alabama thread on this forum we have an extremely good group of guys and several of them are stock. There are tons of places stock freindly in bama and tennessee. Feel free to PM me for any questions or locations.

I would like to go sometime but difficult navigating all the info in this forum. I’ve literally spent 2 weeks now on this site when I have a spare minute just reading. Started in 3rd gen mod that has over 6000 comments. Further I read and more links I click, I venture off to new things and read more. Then found out about the regions page and started reading and watching videos and seeing pics of various group rides. Everything looks fun now trying to find a place safe for new truck until the day I start spending thousands more to upgrade the truck to handle a little more :). Would the info be shared here on when folks will be going? Honestly not interested in driving that far just to ride blind alone. Tried that here locally and without experience it sucked at Stoney lonesome

Probably not too much in this thread since it’s not very active as you can see. You have the right idea though, as far as just reading and going down the rabbit hole. That’s exactly how I learned everything I know about Tacoma’s. You’d probably be better off in the regional thread and seeing if anyone else is going, to partner up with them.
