Those are very very very very very different shocks. Spring over you can stay with a smoothy, bypass will have limited use with SOA. Spring under (SUA), if you have the means, throw the best bypass you can in there.

That being said, I'm dakars and 14" triples because I'm planning for future LT and it ain't bad.

I mean, I had a sway bar and took it off for the already stated reasons. TC didn't reinvent the wheel here. Also the principle use of anti-roll bars has over half a century of motorsport experience both on the track and off to back up what it's best at doing; which is taught in a lot of auto shop classes.

But of course, it's your truck. Feel free to disregard all that, pshh enthusiasts, race teams, automotive institutions, what do they know.:cookiemonster: We'll wait to hear your experiences.

I don't have my off road suspension textbook handy, but proper swaybar design if is a non-trivial differential equation if I remember right.

You don’t agree that it improves on road and packed road performance right ? Yes if this was a dedicated off road truck only I wouldn’t have it. But if I’m on the road 70% of the time to get to my destinations I want to have the safety and performance it delivers. It is a mild steel which supodadly gives some for the road performance but also doesn’t take too much for the off road use. Ultimately I wish it was a push of s botton discontent like rubicon or similar but for now it’s just a trial snd error. You welcome all lol.

I’m guessing not many want to spend $400 for something it appears everyone believes they already know what it will or won’t do. I just might pioneer it for you guys. Just don’t get why all this hate is rolling in.

    This ^.

Bypass’ are Gucci and what all of the “industry influencers” want to tell you to run but going that route adds many more variables to your build than a smoothy would.

The adjusters are great to have so that you can alter the dampening control as your weight varies. Bypass take time to tune appropriately and, as stated, are position sensitive so they need to be setup by someone with the knowledge to do so.

Fuck it...i'll say it....you are the typical 3rd gen owner. You are the reason most of us have to completly avoid the 3rd gen forums. You know it all, we get it.

You know exactly why you’re getting flack so stop playing the “victim” card.

You show up in the threads, ask a question, and then complain about everyone’s responses when they don’t tell you what you want to hear. Read through your last thread.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/10-or-12-shocks-cons-pros.604663/

Now your promoting your build in the LT thread. Where most of these guys have seen, done, tried, read about, and/or build their rigs and understand the results. Yet you complain about the flack given when something on your build is questioned.

It’s your truck. It’s your money. I hope it exceeds your expectations but many of us have been following and know what the result will be. You’re not innovating anything here.

Finally this tread lives up to its name. I didn’t ask any questions under this post was simply sharing the build. I’m not playing a victim card at all i simply find it irritating when the comment come from people that didn’t even realize this wasn’t a factory bar jumping into conclusion bound by their experience which they didn’t have with this product. All good if people are that sensitive I won’t bother yo all with my “I know it all” posts. Lmao

Your wrong on a lot of assumptions you just made but I appreciate the bluntness.may I suggest people staying on topic instead of getting personal ? Sway bars are evil I got it thank u all. Move on people.

I don’t recall anyone assuming it was a factory sway bar. They asked why you still had one in the first place. You just got a little defensive because nobody was impressed with your $400 piece of equipment that most in this thread would say is not necessary.

This is a BS thread... what did you expect us to talk about?

If I had a meme generator, I would have totally made something from a “this is Sparta” pic.
