Mine is only 3 weeks old with 500 miles. Filled up yesterday and did a 200 mile trip to the mountains and back. This was in my driveway at home.

    This guy.... Gets it.

I took these just a little while ago while filling up.

Last year I went from driving 72-75 on the highway, to 60-65.

I drive normal despite the fuel mileage. Besides even though the digital readout says we’re averaging ‘x’ miles per gallon the only true way to tell is top it off to the top then drive a tank of gas then top it off to the top again and view the amount of gallons put in tank and divide that number into total miles traveled. Either way 20 for a 4x4 is great to me. If I can get close to that then great. If not then as long as it gets me where I’m going and has enough power to do what I need it to do when hauling stuff then I’m good with whatever mpg it gets.

16-19mpg is best I can get with AT tires and about 1000lbs cargo in truck and bed

True mileage would be dividing miles driven by how many gallons you fill back up

it seems the auto's fair more than the manual's, when cruising at 65mph my tach is above 2k rpms,
I see Summitroad is running over 70 and under 2k rpms.

I checked several tanks back to back and always found the digital display was within .5 MPG in my truck.

I should also add my truck runs best with name brand high detergent fuels. I get great MPG with shell and notice a considerable decline if I use the grocery store gas pumps.

Here you go, 500hp tundra city driving. 7l/100km = 33.6mpg.

Best tank average has been 20.7 mpg.
Average tank average is 19.5 mpg.
Fill-ups are at about 1/8 of a tank with Shell 91 E0 purchased from the same station since i bought it.
Noteworthy mods are LT265/75/16/E and 500 lbs above curb weight.

I've been averaging mid nineteens on my crappy stopngo 38 mile one way commute that takes about 90 to 100 minutes. Average since I purchased the Tacoma this past May is 20mpg with just short of 4 thousand miles It's a 2019 TRD PRO. This last trip with the 25mpg is the best I've got to date Short trip on back roads a few towns from my home

Me best tank was 26.7 mpg. It’s a technical “best” because I filled the tank after exiting a trailhead at 6,000’ and dropped down to sea level for the remainder of the miles. I know a lot of people say they don’t care about setting records or saving dollars or reducing emissions, but I think it’s pretty cool that my truck, on average, commutes 80 miles further per tank than my in-law’s Tacoma driven on the same roads, and I get there in the same amount of time. Like, it’s the same truck, but mine has a sweet mod that makes it go 70-80 miles further per tank.

If I cared about MPGs I wouldn’t have bought a truck. 15.6 mpg but at least 100spm(smiles per mile). The reason why you are getting so much flak is because a simple search on the search tab would have shown tons of these same exact thread regarding “best mpgs” “average mpg”

Not sure if this is a thread about "cared about mpgs" or just curiosity. I'm just curious if its operating at design parameters. I'm even wasting money on buying Mobil supreme 93 for the next month then switch back to regular So far I believe engine runs smoother and quieter. could be subjective, but it's not about mpgs, just curious

I'm going to assume mostly downhill...lol. Well, not really an assumption....Is your truck 2wd? Even then, your numbers are an anomaly.

Not sure why people post inflated mpg statistics. It's a bit misleading imo.

Edit: I read your first post, and you mentioned heading down to the beach. So I suppose your numbers are more plausible.

It’s just “modifying” the way you drive.

I think I'm driving "normally" I run it 80mph if traffic is up to it. Otherwise I drive with the flow
