Ballistic Fabrication. That photo was pre-tubbing for 35's. Here's a more current photo. It's still holding my AGM battery in place after hundreds of miles of hard trails. Let's just say to get 35's not to rub without a body lift requires a little bit of 12lb sledge action to the inner fender wells. lol

haha yeah I skimmed the text and just saw that you said that in the first post, my bad. Gonna check it out. I like how it encases the whole battery and holds better than the OEM tie down upgrade that's sold on here by a TW member.

I'm sure if I went with you on one of your trails I would need something like that, if I inverted my truck too far to one side I don't think the strap would hold as well as that thing would ha

Damn that battery box by Ballistic Fab is cheaper than the beefier OEM tie downs I've seen for sale on here, I'm sold. Gonna order one

Looking at this little skid for the bottom of the diff too, since mine likes to get friendly with rocks. Maybe make that my first welding project later this summer.

Don't think I need the full front plate, never really had any issue with that. Just with dragging the bottom every so often and mangling the drain plug.

Do the hose while your at it... if it’s original it’s probably worn out

Actually, I replaced both hoses when I did the coolant flush. Just didn't replace the clamps. Maybe I just need to adjust it a bit. Will check.

Get factory clamps. I’ve had nothing but issues with the worm drives

These are factory clamps... 17 years old but still factory ;)

It's just those lower two that are questionable.

OEM is constant tension clamp so it stays tight as hose expands and contracts. Worm drive work okay for connecting air components I guess and stuff like that

Yeah seems more often than not for me there was something not aligning just right to seal it off completely. Usually doing the hose fixed it. But there have been a couple times I almost bought a clamp but removed the hose and cleaned it and the radiator sealing surface and then made sure the clamp was aligned right ended up taking care of it.
But you just reminded me I need to order a radiator cap. Thanks

Yea they lose tension over time. Especially once they’re taken off

I friggin hate worm drive clamps, well the ones from the auto parts stores. Which reminds me, I need to replace the ones on my remote oil filter relocator, finally found some OEM Toyota ones that should fit. I already replaced the 2 I had on my trans oil cooler a while back.
