    Yeah, that's the plan.

I'll save Primo Burger for our Mojave trip hopefully in October.

Well, the new LCAs are on and I acquired new OE Cam hardware through the local dealership. Now I am praying that my shock bodies come back from plate today so I can get them assembled and back on the truck this evening.

Don't have a lot of time to waste before we try to head North.

Love that stretch of highway. We drove up the 395 all the way from the desert to Lake Tahoe back in February and it looked like this the whole way (from about Bishop to Tahoe).

These in particular were taken on the 395 right outside Mammoth

Of course I doubt it's anything like that now lol. But still tons of snow in the mountains I hear.

    :bored:

Our trip has been trashed. Currently sitting in the Urgent Care due to stomach pains that I’ve had since Midnight. Truck is 98% done but I’m having trouble getting one of the new LCAs into position. Not how I wanted to spend the holiday weekend.

    Thanks.

Idk what it is yet but it’s uncomfortable enough that I woke up at midnight and didn’t get back to sleep until 4ish. I’m just tired of being uncomfortable.

    Who am I kidding. I have a feeling it’s a stomach ulcer.

Don’t know the pain of one but I’ve heard there pretty bad. Hopefully it’s just a bad jalapeño you ate :notsure:

    I wish. I don’t know the last time I had a Jalapeño.

This isn’t like a sharp “pain” but more of a constant ache that causes discomfort. It’s not fun but that’s just a guess I have do to the copious amounts of caffeine I consume.

Hope it’s not serious like the appendix. When it rains, it pours.

Well... the doctor had nothing for me and no good pain meds. It doesn’t appear to be anything serious. After discussing more, he agrees with my thought and said it could be early stages of a stomach ulcer so I have to lay off the caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, and blow. :pout:

I told him to pull the plug. There’s not point in trying without those very items.

Been dealing with a fucked up stomach (how it feels, not just it's size), for years. Starts out in the late afternoon with just feeling off, then feels bloated, then turns into "who put the air compressor to my stomach and stuck knives in me" to puking until dry heaving, until I finally get some sleep around 4-5am. The next week is uneasy and then its like nothing happened. Had an endoscopy, seen a specialist, and none of them can give me anything other than gastritis, or maybe alcohol-induced pancreatitis. Trouble is, unless it's active, they can't tell anything, so next time it happens im going to the ER and have them run some tests on it. It's super lame, but luckily usually only happens every 6 months or so. Maalox all night and ranitidine (zantac) when I start to feel it seem to help me. Not much though.

That doesn't sound enjoyable at all. Have you monitored your diet as a probable cause?

I'm feeling better now but still not great. Going to start taking Prilosec for two weeks to see if that helps. If it is Gastritis, I'm hoping that I caught it early enough that two weeks will be enough. I had a coffee yesterday morning, couldn't go any longer without, and had no reaction. They never confirmed that was the issue though. Just a guess.

Only thing I could seem to tie it to is a heavy day(s) drinking, but it wasn't every time. Because it happens so infrequently, it would have to be something I rarely have, and i havent been able to place it. It's super frustrating, but it doesn't happen too often so I just put up with it when it comes around. Because of that, I don't feel like taking a daily pill for something that only happens every 4-6 months. When it does, pain level is about an 8/10 at times and just super super uncomfortable.

I've had stomach issues for years now and one time about a year and a half ago, I woke up in the night with what felt like an intermittent knife twisting pain in my gut. Would happen once or twice every minute or so. Took myself over to the ER to get checked out and they did and X-ray and some blood work and found nothing wrong other than that I was "dehydrated", gave me an IV for a bit then sent me on my way. Never did figure out what caused it...I have a decently high threshold for pain and very rarely go to the doctor for anything, but that time it freaked me out. To this day I still don't know what it was.

Oh and thank god for insurance because an x-ray, blood work and fluids at the ER cost almost $7k  And that was our local "cheap" hospital, if I had gone to the bigger one a few miles away it probably would have been double that. After seeing that, I decided I'll only ever go to the ER again if I cut off a limb or get shot lol. Crazy.
