I’ve got an 07 Tacoma TRD sport 4x4 with 155k on it, I’ve finally saved enough to feel comfortable with a build. How many miles were on your trucks when you started your builds? The more I think about pouring money into a build the more I think about the miles that are on it. However I am aware that 155k isn’t really that much. I do plan on driving this thing until it explodes.

I have 198,000 miles and just completely started over with the build: King external res, total chaos uppers, sliders, steering rack, wheel bearings, Hankook ATM 285/70/17, C4Fab bed racks... the first full build was at 100,000 miles and I’m still on those original rear all pro leaf packs and bilstein shocks with no issues.

The decision to dump that much money was weighed against buying a newer truck and still having to build it. In my book, 150,000 is low miles on a Tacoma with proper fluid changes and MX.

Bought my 2006 AC in January with 108,000 miles. Up to 117,000 now and runnin strong. She's got Cooper Discoverer AT3s 265/75/16 with struts and shocks out of a 2017 TRD Offroad.

Preciate the replies guys, I’m running 305/70/16 right now on 2inch lift blocks, I’m considering a mid travel kit. I’m doing some research rn to see if they’ll clear 305’s. Right now they scrub obviously

Even with a mid travel (what I have) you will not clear 305s without a steel bumper, cab mount chop, and 4 degrees of caster. Even then, it’s just not worth it to eat up all that wheel travel.

When the 1st set of tires wore out I started changes.....around 30K miles. Now my 2011 has 190K miles.

UCA's, Deaver leafs, 17x9 Black Rhyno Warlords, 33" Toyo M/T's, Metal Tech rear bumper, Westin HDX drop steps with Bullet Liner coating, K&N CAI, Baja Designs fog pods, Rigid Midnight addition 3" pod ditch lights. Started my build with with the King 2.0 suspension at 400 miles on the OD followed by wheels, tires and bumpers the next day. The rest came within the next 1k miles or so. I did 90% of my mod research months before I bought the truck so I pretty much already I knew what I wanted. Been doing mods here and there since. Truck now has approx 4500 after one year of ownership. 20190112_160932.jpg 20181118_122717.jpg20190111_160559.jpg 20190111_160422.jpg

I really dig the tire/suspension combo you've got man. Are those bolt on C/O and shocks with new UCA?

I only have 58k on my 08... Sometimes i think i am crazy putting so much money into a 11 year old truck but I plan on keeping it a long time so why not! I have seen guys buy rigs with 200k+ and dump a ton of money into them.

I see its 6 lug but what engine?

I hate making offers and looking like a prick if it's below what the owner deems fair. How much do you need to get for it?
