    They lose their meat and start to slip. It’s usually around 1600km but depends how I drive. I did have two snap on me as well, one because I left it on forever and the other because I set it too tight.

    Too tight...rarely a problem .

    Crank pulley would be better because:
    1. You won't need to downsize your belt and run into the issues with that
    2. less rotating mass = faster revs
    3. a little bit more boost.

    only cons are having to get the roush tensioner, but really you should get that anyway because the stock one is flawed.

    I believe some have said that the bigger crank would almost have the same gain as a 2.7 SC pulley.....

    Keep your 2.8 with bigger crank pulley, same boost as a 2.7. And keep your current belt size.

    With a 2.7 upper it’s recommended to go to a smaller sized belt

    It's true @JuanitoBunito if you go with a larger crank pulley there is less need to rely on the tensioner to pick up the slack you otherwise would had created by switching down to a smaller pulley if you keep the same size belt.

    Get yourself a Roush tensioner with the LFP double bearing roller and you are in total business for one super reliable blower setup!
