I had a 2016 Mercedes GLC 300 that I really loved except for taking it to the dealer. A trip to the dealer is 2.5 hours one way. Last fall I took it in for the 24,000 mile service at a price of $577. They gave me a loaner and the outside mirror got knocked off - $2,400 but I only had to pay $250. So it cost me $827, a 240 mile trip, and a day's work lost.

I decided I wasn't going to do that anymore and traded the next week for a 2018 SR5 Access Cab, 4 X 4. I really like the truck so far but I only have about 5,000 miles on it. Drove it on a 300 mile trip and averaged 24.5 MPG. The power window on the passenger side quit yesterday, but at least it is up. Got a recall last week on the brake sensor.

Welcome to TW. Former Benz owner here. I had two happy days with that Benz. The day that I bought it, and the day that I traded it.
