San Antonio

Well, we're out and about. Woke up this morning in the Carson NF .. spent 2 nights there mostly because a lot of campsites we're full for the 4th. But we dispersed camped off a forest road we're a hiking trail head was. There was a pullout that was plenty big. Only saw a handful of people for the 2 days. Most we're driving by on the forest road in Polaris type ATV s. When then headed up north of Gunnison and did some pretty fun wheeling way back into another NF .. talk about a rough forest road. 4wd was a must. We got way back in there only to discover that the skeeters we're out in FORCE .Black swarms of misery. So we bailed on that. So we headed north. Figured after 4 nights if camping it was time for a real shower vs cold half assed camp showering. Ended up in craig colorado due to many hotels being booked for travelers due to the holiday. The skeeters we're so bad I didn't even manage any good wheeling shots cause we didn't want to let any in the truck. But my wife got a little video I may be able to post later on when we're home. I e mostly taken pics on my tablet .. but I have a couple from my phone of our NM camp. Headed north into Wyoming in the morning .might sleep in a little and then take advantage of the hotel breakfast just before it closes ha ha. We're tired. Ended up driving from northern NM to northern Colorado today .. wasn't in the plans.

There is a planned route from SA already if want to go on that drive, not sure how many will be doing it though. I am leaving sometime after lunch on the 19th.
