I couldn't get into it...tried the first couple episodes awhile ago and just felt like a kids show to me. I know it's supposed to be good but just haven't felt compelled to try again I guess

Started season 4 of Animal Kingdom though, that show is really good

Heard tell of that fucker...luckily they're supposed to be rare down here. Worst we see regularly are black widows, which are everywhere this time of year. Could probably go outside and find a dozen of them along the side of the house right now. Luckily though they rarely go inside of homes, I actually don't think I've ever seen one inside despite the countless ones I find outside.

Oh and fuck wasps. They keep trying to build nests on our front porch and I keep dousing them with wasp spray.

We have Mud Daubers out here, on the plus side it's easy to kill their nest because it's you guessed it - mud. On the other hand, they're scary looking mofos. Close to Wasps.

It's interesting because they've caused a few commercial airplane disasters. They build their mud nests inside the aircraft Pitot Tube, thus causing the airplane to incorrectly report air speed. As a result the planes crashes from false information reported to the aircraft.

Actually I looked at a few more photos and their nests look exactly like the ones being built on our front porch...

Damnit now I have to worry about those. Always just figured they were wasps

Better than normal Wasps or Hornets. They don't sting unless provoked.

Well I don't wanna be half asleep going out my front door to work one morning only to accidentally piss off a hive of mud daubers lol. I'll continue to poison them without remorse

Forego the poison, a just get a hose and spray it. It'll disintegrate the nest and the Dauber (hopefully not home) will go away.

That's what I do, spray them with the poison to kill them (since they're always crawling around the nest) then wash it away with the hose. But they're stubborn assholes, almost every week there's a new nest being constructed in nearly the same spot.

Only for a few months every summer then they disappear until the next year

Look at the bright side. You can still get them -- somewhere.

My kind of deal. Then I don't feel bad about shooting one with a parts cannon in the first six months.

Yep, no sense in chancing a crushed power steering line or damaged rack because the jack was off a little bit.
