I figure a few hundred in fluids and parts would make it worthwhile for such a comfortable commuter car. The fact that parts are cheap and available and its easy to work on made it an easy sell for me :)

I also want to get rid of the sweet purple tint and redo that so it stays cooler

Glad its coming along... Let me know if you run into any issues.

Having something similar to this, really helped get those rack bushings out -
    https://smile.amazon.com/CARTMAN-Service-Vehicles-Remover-Adapters/dp/B076BZW5RS

Also this is a good one to have (not for the rack bushings but for the outer ties, LBJ's, etc)-

I have the knock off of the second kit and having all the different tools is real handy

Some say leave it some say take it off. Anyone in the know say jack from the LCA because it’s easier to get the truck higher that way lol

I hate to admit it, but after doing the rack bushings I ended up returning the cartman kit. Eventually I ended up re-ordering and went with the larger Powerbuilt 23 piece kit when I did the upper ball joints. Having that kit made getting that ball joint pressed out on the vehicle so much easier. Sure, had to get creative with the adapters but it worked.

my thinking as well. I'd rather have them sitting waiting for the next project than have to run around to various stores trying to rent them

Ive jacked from the LCA and never have a issue. Ive also just jacked off any strong looking cross member under the truck no issue.

If you goto a Mexican tire show they use 4 jacks on the frame to lift it up. And sometimes they only use 3 jacks

But really, i have a bad habit of buying tools. Sometimes getting 3 sets of things so i can have a set for where ever i work on my truck. Because i have 3 places to work on my truck...
