Weird, I don't know then. That's the second time I have used that p/n & both matched exactly the same length as my stock one.

You talking about the stock skid? I'd remove it. I keep my steel skid on and just make sure to lift right under the point where the cross member is. Never had an issue

Maybe, I'm not sure. Or he could have got a fake one. Lots of fake ones on ebay. Fake ones go for $40-$50 and look like a standard o2 screwed into a flange. Real ones won't have the hex & cost $100. My first one I got from Amazon, the last one I got from RockAuto. They last 8-9 yrs for me.

Watching people who think they're getting chased by a bee or wasp is funny as hell to see...unless you're that person that thinks you're being chased. I've fled from many a flying insect before.

Never been stung by a wasp but I have been stung by several bees.

The autos and manuals have different length wiring. When I got my rear 02 sensor I had to use my vin to get the right length one. At least for the rear sensor that is

This. I despise not having a tool or part I need on hand when I'm balls deep on a job. Having to stop once you're rolling is such a huge time killer

That would make sense. Mine does clip on a bracket that is mounted on the trans. Rock Auto doesn't mention anything about trans type though, they're usually pretty detailed. (Edit: I was wrong)

I've lifted the cruisers and the tacos and everything from about every place you can. The easiest way to get it high enough to get a tire off usually is under the lower control arm, like sperruner says, for me
Edit: also take off the skid plate whenever you want, before or after lifting it, no matter. It's kinda nice dealing with the taco, because everything is so light compared to the world we came from

I always jack from the center cross member, with two stands on the frame rails behind the tires.

Helluva price on that kit. You'll likely notice the spot on the water pump casting where the 'Toyota' usually goes is blank. That means you have the right one.
You and sperruner should do it together. Always easier with an extra head, and someone that has a shop
Edit: I see now that it's not for the taco nvm

I just looked at Rock Auto, they do list for manual & auto trans for the Denso.

Denso upstream manual trans is 234-9003.

The one pictured is the original i think.

I bought the auto denso one by mistake and just never got the manual one instead

Fuckin shit, I woke up early to win an ebay auction. Then I came on TW & started posting about o2 sensors & totally missed the auction. I would have easily won that auction too. Damn TW always fucks me over, either by spending money that I shouldn't, taking up way more time than I should be spending here, or shit like this! I'm not coming back here anymore!!! :annoyed: :frusty:
