Welp, spanner wrench broke when I only had 2 turns left to go. Set screw is on backside now, can’t get to it to tighten it.

Punch is rounding out the holes in the coil over.

Anyone have one of these in the upstate I can pay to borrow this weekend?

First butt just went on. Hoping it turns out good.

Using the “smoke” setting for an hour, then will turn it to 225 for the remainder of the day.

That’s the one. Hard to beat 27mpg average in a full size 4wd truck

Audi was gone long ago. Had a Sierra for a year, it started giving me transmission issues and GM said it was “normal” so I traded it in.

I had a Pontiac, Buick, and a Chevrolet that all three had transmission issues among other problems. After we finally got rid of the Pontiac I swore off GM vehicles for good.

My BIL just got rid of his ‘15 3500 for transmission problems. GM said it was normal. He traded for a new F250.

Yep, I’m done with em. Shame Toyota doesn’t take the full sized market seriously.

Super impressed with the Ford so far.

Funny how Tacoma folks keep getting F?50 models when they move to full-size trucks. Says a lot about that truck market.

Not having had a truck before, my old mini-taco works well for me, just kinda wish it wasn’t garnet ... hahahahaha
Yellow/gold trim works well it it, however, as I’m an Erskine grad.

Looks like the hoped for promotion isn’t happening & I’m working in Greenwood for the foreseeable future- which for CVS may only be a week or could be years.

I hit them with wd40 and had used a ratchet strap to take some load off of the spring. They are only the 600 lb spring.

I just meant that as I twisted the preload ring, the Allen screw to lock the threads was on the back side of the coilover, so hard to get to in order to tighten it back up for safe driving.

I was able to find some much stronger ratchet straps to compress the spring more and finish turning the preload ring so the thread lock was facing me. Locked it off. Need 3 more turns to be level with the other side though :).

I will definitely try grinding the punch down - thank you for the idea!

and a platty at that? SHIT

I know you have to get a lariat or above for the diesel. Still happy with my lariat 5.0L w/ intake, exhaust, and tune. Not sure what all you can get out of it since you already have a platty, but look into Forscan. You can make ECU changes from a laptop w/ the adapter. I added auto-fold mirrors, temps above things on my digital speedo, and bambi mode (high beams + fogs) with it. I'm sure you have some of those factory.
