    I used the cheapest possible paint at Walmart. No primer, for prep I used dawn dish detergent and scrubbed my sliders.

    The paint is still strong where it’s never came in contact with a rock. Also where I’ve hit a rock it just scratches that off, it has not made the other paint peel or anything. Don’t think you have to over do it for sliders.

    Did you need for me to get that sandblasting cabinet? I'm guessing Wes will finish up with my sliders today, so hopefully I can go get them today as well. I'm gonna sand, wash, wipe with acetone and then primer and paint the sliders.

    I can cover that for you. I'll sand blast a few items when I get home with it. Hey I can sandblast my sliders for an awesome canvas for primer/paint to stick to! Sandblasted surface finish is the best for paint adherence! :D

    This will all be dependent on when @Jerneyman finishes the sliders.

    It is a good deal. I paid more than that when I got it from a friend. I have the high pressure fitting for it though. Was going to get a smaller one and took it off a few months ago.

    Cubie,
    Need to drop the fitting off with Brian before you pick up.

    @Arrowshot sounds great.

    @cubie I will try to meet you the same day you pick up, if not I’ll get with you the following day.

    @tweakit88 may as well by a prerunner if you’re going to remove the entire front of the truck anyways. I was actually surprised. Seems like a good deal.

    @Arrowshot, what is the high pressure fitting you’re talking about? Can you send a photo or link a photo of what it looks like?
