How is that the opposite? I said counterfeits are just a regular o2 screwed into a flange is why they have the hex. Regular o2 sensors are screw in.

Counterfeits have the hex, genuine don't. So how I said means the counterfeits don't have the hex?

I did edit right after to make it more understandable. It was right after, so no edit note yet.

Genuine Denso & genuine OEM don't have the hex. That's why I stated the prices asked if you had the hex, & posted that pic to begin with.

But whatever, that's what I get for texting & driving.:luvya:

The technology I was looking at was early 90s as well. It was when I was into the mpg stuff and on the XFI Metro rebuild I did I was gonna eliminate it, but read some stuff and thought better leave it for mpgs. For all out power though I'd imagine you do want it gone so you can get more fuel into your combustion chamber, not exhaust gasses

Yeah those look right. You can get Denso a bit cheaper online over Vatozone but maybe you had a reason to use AZone, important thing is looks like the right ones

He means 'the counterfeit Denso AND the counterfeit OEM....', counterfeit being an adjective applicable to Denso and to OEM

BTW, the generic ones that are just a regular o2 screwed into a flange work. They may not last as long if they do work. It's just that if you are paying $50 for one that is sold as A Denso or OEM you are getting f'd on the price.

Denso always cost me about $100. Conterfeits are like $40-$50. Generics are like $20-$30.

Nah, my fault, I see where the confusion came from, one stupid comma. I'm dealing with plumbing issues right now. Plumber came today. Hot water pipe leaking in the foundation. Gonna have to jackhammer the concrete & dig in the living room. I've been taking cold showers for days now since I figured out it was a hot water pipe & shut off the hot water supply. FML. I hate cold showers!

It happened before like 10+ yrs ago. At least it's just the hot water. Would suck if I had to shut down all the water to the house! Good thing it"s summer time. Cold showers in the winter would be even worse!
