Was thinking I may as well just bite the bullet and get them before I put the pipes in, rather than having to figure out my life later with the pipes already on the truck

Pumped for my set up. Catted dump tubes ordered, URD Mk2 Y Pipe just delivered. Going to mate it to my TRD PRO exhaust. Crossing fingers for a good sound and more power!!! Hopefully I don’t get into drone land.

 

Me too! Earlier i don’t know if he meant the dumps are sending out today or the 2.0 beta.

 

@OVTune with your upcoming 2.0 release, I read you mentioned having a 4.88 gear specific tune. What about us 5.29 guys? Would really like to get that whole governor situation straitened out. I’ve got 5.29s on the way from ecgs and would be pumped if your including 5.29 tunes in 2.0.

 

Only the dump tube customers are getting the 2.0 beta file for testing. At least that is what Mat said a few weeks ago.

 

Hello everyone.

We want to let everyone know..Because a thread claiming our software is a virus..

Our software is not a virus. However, it can easily be "detected" as a virus due to specific code manipulation methods in place for anti reverse engineering.
The software is packaged and compiled a certain way by our developer to protect the code.
These methods include a signature (email) embedded within.

This is done so that when REing is attempted, you chase your tail, for a while.

The code also uses anti reverse engineering methods that destroy segments on compiling. Making disassembling the code extremely difficult.
Our software queries firmware information, along with hardware information....to get your system ID.
This is not malicious, it's just a method to make a unique ID.
Quickie is the email of my developer. Not malicious.

Our software ALSO queries current processes to ensure that debuggers are not active while using the software. Another anti-RE method.

Some of these methods are ALSO used by viruses. This is why anti viruses will scan it, and say "hey this has signatures of bad stuff."
Doesn't mean that it is.

It's a very efficient way to create a standalone, easy to distribute small packaged utility that is very well protected.

Yikes so if the dump tubes do cause a CEL I would be SOL.

Will the dump tubes come with install instructions? I currently have the URD Y-Pipe installed so I'm wondering if I need to remove that or could the dump tubes be installed from the engine bay?

 

Are we ever getting dump tubes sound clips?

 

Ok I've read through many pages and other threads and can't find a specific answer. I am here for the same reason as everyone else, the truck runs like ass...I have a 5/19 built TRD OR DCSB. First question is how do I check which ECU version I am on, and pending what the answer to that is, do I need to get a certain TSB done prior to OVtune to get the best from OV? I have a scan gauge FYI but haven't played with it too much except to look at transmission temps. Thanks for any guidance.

Correct. At this time only folks who purchased dump tubes, and a few other testers. Public version will be available with Flash Manager 1.30 update coming up.
