It amazes me that people say, "I'm xx miles away, how can I help?"
    That's fantastic.

I do what I can from my remote location. Unfortunately it would take me 3 or more hours to get to anyone, unless of course you break down or get stuck on the west side ten it's only a hour to get to you.

I've had one car that was really fun to drive. A 1973 Fiat Spyder with a 5 speed manual and inline 4 cylinder. It wouldn't run when I got it so my wife and I pulled the engine out without an A-Frame. (We were younger then) We rebuilt it on my grandma's kitchen table with help from a Chilton's manual. We finally got it back together and it ran like a dream. The convertible top was in rags but we didn't care. We had to sell it when daughter number one came along, to pay the hospital bills.

This isn't it but was the same model. Mine was white where it wasn't rusty and not nearly this nice. It was still fun.

No you never do, but I'm ready to lend moral support to anyone that breaks down near me. I can't lend Mechanical support. I don't know a thing about engines, or suspensions.

My Dad had one that caught fire while he was driving it. He pulled it to the side of the road & got out and watched it burn.

It's what he told me. And good luck getting anything from him now. Unless you have a line to heaven.

Man my mom texted me last night saying she felt the earthquake good at their house in Vegas.

Crazy. One of the reasons why they left la was the earthquakes

Yeah. We have a geologist in our neighborhood and he said our houses would be f’d in an earthquake. Cause it’s all rock. Dang it.

Pretty scary that some of our most populated cities, complete with a large number of high-rise buildings, are smack dab in the worst danger zone. San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle. It's not a question of "Will the big one happen?" it's "When will the big one happen?" It's gonna be tragic when it does.

The river would be my problem. I like looking at it but I don't really want it in my front yard.
