    My initial kill switch thought was to extend Meso's sub harness back down the A pillar to a spare push switch located on the lower left console. Basically, create an extension cord for the sub-harness.

    @MESO, could you please spec out your connectors and pins for the sub-harness?

    The 12V constant is SPST switched. The switch has no "On" LED: no battery draw in the normal "On" position. A "Puddles" text push switch powered by the 12V ignition console lights would provide a finished OEM look.

    Downstream of the switch, the Meso "Y" and driver/passenger Meso cabling are used normally.

    I’ve used this thing innumerable times to help get wires through the firewall, boots, center console, behind the lower console, and many many more. It’s cheap and the little light on the end is extremely helpful to find where you can get wires through. It’s saved me a ton of headache from taping wires to coat hangers. One of the most useful tools I own.

    I used my multimeter to find the positive in the harness. I ignored it though and did a push button switch like you described on the ground wire so I can manually switch them on. I added a diode added to the harness to isolate the puddles from the interior lights.

    Edit: So your plan should work to switch the positive as a kill switch.

    Finally installed these. Took my time (4.5 hours and a needed dip in the pool when I was finished) and read the install instructions many times over and watched a YouTube video. Can’t thank everyone in this group enough for the tips, tricks and advice for this install. @MESO please continue making excellent products and great customer service. Everything seems to be working properly and I can’t wait until it gets dark so I can show them off.

    Do you have any type of test light or multimeter? First and easiet place to
    Check is right at the light. Pop the cover off and test to see if there’s power.
    Yes= bad light
    No= connection came loose somewhere upstream

    Looked through about 80 pages for an answer, but gave up. Hoping someone might read this who has the answer...

    Finally got around to installing them today... Install went pretty flawless. No issues at all.

    Upon connecting up the to light runs to the Y-Harness, I have a few issues...

    1) the Pods stay on (but very dim). As well as my cabin lights... even after I lock the truck and wait about five minutes.

    2) Proximity doesn’t work...

    3) When I unlock the truck, the passenger side is bright AF... Passenger side: Off

    4) Removing the harness seems to return everything to normal working condition. Putting it back in, all the same symptoms come back...

    Pulled all the connection to see if any pins were bent, but all connections looked fine...

    @MESO, Bad Harness?!? Can i check anything else?
