Bring your truck to mod day

Seen a few threads about it, looks like there are several ways of getting it done.

    Yes.

I imagine so, but it’s a good looking red color...

I did mine in <2 hours. Jack up the front end a bit. I only removed the shield over the slave, everything else stayed in place. Clamp the line near the reservoir.

Remove the bolts from the accumulator and the two fittings. I used the accumulator as a guide to form my line (I bought the parts from autozone). Start threads into slave. Attach and tighten upper line. Press line into slave and tighten. Bleed clutch.

I’d recommend buying the hardline and fitting. It’s easy to form and it’ll save you $50 on the kit for sale here. You can give me $50 for being helpful lol

Be sure you have a flare nut wrench so you don’t wreck the fittings.

Do you have a parts list? I’ve been thinking of buying the kit on here, but if I can buy parts local, I’d rather do that.

I have 85K+ on my truck and can never seem to rev match 2nd gear right on upshifts. I’ve had only MT vehicles for the last 25 years and this truck still owns me on that one upshift. I really think it’s the lag of the accumulator.

Call for help. Randy is here to swap his spindles and everything is going fine truck wise. But I’ve been sick most of this week and it’s caught up with me already today. If at least one of you could swing out to help him I’d be very grateful as I feel like an ass leaving him by himself.

That was my complaint. 1-2 always was rough no matter what I did. No longer an issue.

Nice. I assume it’s 2x of the AGS/Brake Line fittings, right?

Nope just 1 of each. One end goes into the slave cylinder and the fitting goes on the other and connects to the existing hard line above the accumulator
