    This tool may help for you guys. Makes removing valve springs very easy.

    On that note, while doing testing, the OEM valve springs will bind before reaching full lift, or valve open. I knew this, but was again reminded by it.

    @JustDSM , your request of my cams versus OEM. Intake to intake. Mine have such great lift that the area around the buckets had to be die ground away for relief. Forgot about that as well.

    Hopefully the grinds that you guys have listed are less aggressive and do not require that. Makes quite the mess. Luckily for my phase testing to determine if I actually can run the VVT-I actuators, (again due to lift profile) I didn't have to worry about shavings on my spare damaged head.

    Doesn't necessarily "require" a tune. I ran my truck with my cams locked out and a stroker rotating assembly. On The OEM ecu. Had the cams had VVT-I capability, there would have been no issues. It just wouldn't have been optimized.
