Just got done watching the main card, some good fights, Santos/Jones fight was kinda boring, Askren getting knocked out I think my face looked like this

 

I don’t think there was a face out there that didn’t look like that.

 

So what’s next for the welter weight division?

Usman is out for 5 months.

Colby vs Lawler set for August.

The only thing left that makes sense is

Till vs Askren

Tyron vs Masvidal.

 

I’d say after Masvidal’s last two performances he should hold out for a title shot. Askren and Till would either be a KO for till or a rag dolling for Askren.

 

Looks like he attempted to shoot a double leg but caught a knee to the face. Those two shots he took afterward were pretty legit as well. DANG

 

You can't be one-dimensional anymore, the depth of talent is too deep.

 

From his body position , he sure was going to shoot for it. Those last 2 shots were definitely warranted. Besides I don’t think Masdival is the type to walk away until a ref steps in.

I think Ben's ko loss was a bit of a freak thing. The chances of that ever happening again are slim to none. If it was that easy Khabib would be flat lined as well. Askren vs Colby would be the best match up they could make after Colby gets destroyed by Lawler.

 

That was a really strong card.

 

Haha. In Masvidals last fight he did the same thing but kicked Darren Till in the nuts instead. Prob the fastest groin strike stoppage in ufc history as well. Everyone has plans when they fight but they rarely work. I'd say it's 1/50 that would work again. The next guys that fights Askren won't win by flying knee ko.

Aaron Pico caught a flying knee ko the same way a few weeks ago. But the guy tried about 5 before that one landed.
