Why the hang up on Americans being involved with Sea Shepherd? I'm a member of the SSCS and PETA what of it?? I donate and do what I can from land. What do you do? My point like I have said before was america is sticking its nose where it doesn't belong yet again. We have our own problems here. You know the saying check your back pocket first well it applies here. You need to take care of your home before you try and tell someone else how to do it.

My problem isn't what they stand for it is the way they are going about it. I criminal with good intentions is still a criminal.

The crew members are from Australia, America, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Sweden,
Bermuda, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, New Zealand and Japan.

The crew is from ALL around the world.
Animal Planet is filming this and making anyone who watches the program aware of whats going on in the southern ocean.
Its not the United States filming this. So having American crew members don't have anything to do with our country. So America isn't sticking its nose anywhere. Its an American citizen stepping up to save whales.

 

lets all get together and stop the cruel killing of tuna fish or maybe lobsters. those poor poor lobsters. Or maybe stop the killing of wild boars or any other poor defenseless animals. Lets go pirate the crab fishing fleet.

The minke whale is not endangered and the population has doubled in the past 10 years. over a million in the south ocean there are plenty of minke whales out there. How many millions of dollars are they wasting to save a couple hundred whales.

Then they do stupid shit like throw acid on the decks to spoil the meat. At least the japanese take the whales back and sell the meat so nothing goes to waste. seems like its hypocritical to stop the pointless killing of whales and then trying to make the meat spoil so the fleet has to throw it out and go kill another one...

 

Because they have no legal authority to...International Law of the Sea isn't do whatever you want...It is a complex set of rules that all the gov'ts are abiding by.
These morons seem to feel their alternative interpretation is the way to go...Instead they just continue to put HUMAN lives in danger with their bullshit.

If you feel like sending your money to organzations like PETA...Good for you. That's doesn't make you any better than anyone else...Get over yourself.

I saw a few commercials and 1 episode played while I did clothes. That was enough for me to know that I wasn't going to be a watcher.

I do not abuse any animals but I am also not to the extreme, as they are animals/pets.
I don't feel that what is being done is right on either side. The whalers for killing the whales in such a way, and the others for how they are going about trying to impose their will.
