A better place in time. A place where there had yet to be a single american male sit down in front of his computer, fire up the dial up, and start a thread about scratches in his truck bed. NEVER BEEN DONE.

:rofl:All for the trucks lol. “Everyone’s dead. But the bright side is, power seats aren’t going to be a problem anymore”

It’s terrible what you’re saying, but Imagine what would come out of that catastrophe. 500 million survivors 20 years after all is said and done, and not an allergy among them. The gluten thing is over.

Based on what I’ve been told, the only things that will survive the holocaust are gluten, and anything coated in Rhinoliner.

U do have to admit that Toyota has been getting complacent... They have had this market so long that they give us trucks with crap transmissions and no power until 3400+ RPM, because we have a minivan engine.

Drum brakes? Geez, this is 2019.

The Colorado has come out to pretty decent reviews (reliability notwithstanding) and Ford will gift us with a Ranger Raptor eventually.

Tacoma will have to up its game, it can't just live on reputation of longevity.

That means my fantasy 510 Datsun that’s been gutted and caged and coated in line x will still be sputtering around.

The ford raptor. It’s like...if someone could take a monster sticker and then magically turn it into a truck. Or if someone had a massive monster sticker, but had a truck commissioned to be built FOR the sticker. It’s a truck for monster energy drink sticker people. It wants to be a dirt racer. Tries to look like one, commands a higher price lol and people rant and rave about it, hold it to this high standard... yet it sits on a ford production frame with ford production steel and ford production welds with ford production architecture. Not even close, ford.

    GTFO you had one?!?!

That’s what I miss about the best coast. You can have nice things, forever. You could find any vintage for sale anywhere.

Out here, you can’t find a 2010 that hasn’t corroded into rubble.

I totally agree with you, Toyota's are junk. Go buy a Donkey and save some money. Welcome to TW.

Doesn’t sound like Tacoma’s are for you. Maybe try something else. Or maybe a 2nd gen would suit your needs better. I dunno
