I taught myself a new trick.

For starters, this is a huge pet peeve of mine.
You sit down at a Mex restaurant with some friends. They bring chips and salsa. Inevitably, someone grabs the salt and hammers down on the whole basket of chips. That really pisses me off. So the other day my buddy grabs the salt, no asky asky, and covers the chips. So me being an asshole, I grab the pepper and go to work. He said what the fuck are you doin? I said the same thing you just did, only with pepper. Salt your own chips, leave mine alone.
Is that shitty of me?
The next time I'm gonna pour water all over them. They taste so much better covered in water.

 

Also, cold water is too cold.

I've never salted the chips at the Mexican restaurant.

 

It's rather warm today at 96 degrees. I did my daily chores in the morning coolness and now I'm just hangen' out.

I've had at least 4 different people do it without asking. I know it's not a big deal, I get it, just ask first.

I'm not on a low sodium diet, I just don't add salt to food. I figure there is plenty there to begin with.
It's like someone adding a sugar packet to your soda.

Too hot for anything else.

 

I would have asked the waitress for another basket of chips. I like them salty but I just salt my own. It makes a mess on the table but that's what we tip them for.
