im a new 2019 Taco owner. Every Taco
owner Ive met said the same thing:. “This is the best truck I ever owned.” The other comment is the response to the question, “How do you like your Tacoma?......”Love it!!!”

I've never heard a complaint in person other than "too small" from guys who needed to move to a full-size for towing or family room.

All my Tacomas have been great trucks.

In the real world maybe, but TW is another story.

And for the record, my 2016 is the best truck I have ever owned-

    Cheers.

I have had a couple different trucks and have had the pleasure of driving many different trucks and also cars. There are trucks made for different purposes and sometimes people will buy the wrong truck for their intended purpose because they didn't research, then blame it on the manufacturer. The 3rd gen Tacoma is a great truck for its purpose. It does have its quirks, but they are easily overcome by the features installed by Toyota, (i.e. S mode and ECT on.) Is this the best truck I ever owned? I will have to say no, but it is a good truck and I do enjoy driving it. The reason I say its not the best is because for me, the best truck I ever owned was my Mazda B2300, extended cab, manual transmission. Basic truck, simple design, easy to work on and I wasn't afraid to give it hell. But I can answer the question of how do you like it, with "I love it."

I do love my Taco... but after pulling my little camper this weekend I don't think the Taco will be with me much longer. Its only a 2500lb trailer kitted out for 3 days of camping and it was a hard pull. I had to really rag on the Taco to keep it at 60-65mph. :(

I'm thinking about going back to a Titan, I just miss the power. I know i'll miss the Taco after it goes away... maybe i'll paint the Titan Quicksand to ease the pain a bit.

Other than my ‘92 4Runner (not even sure if that counts) this ‘19 Tacoma is my favorite. With time it might surpass my 4Runner.
