Technician made it out Friday to look at the AC, what I was afraid of compressor died. Tuesday they come out for an estimate, both for new unit and also repair. Will be at least end of next week before get AC back.

Grew up without AC and didn't know many that had it back in the 60's and 70's. Fans are great inventions and so is moving slowly. Only have 2.5 months need AC and then not all the time so not interested in spending a fortune on it. Couple of weeks ago paid the gas bill for May and used $220 worth of gas for heat, heating is a different story.

Was beautiful yesterday in the mid 70's with low humidity at least had one good day. Was actually a great day spent most of the day shooting 5 stand with some friends, some that came from over 100 miles away. Challenging course some targets were 50-60 yards away.

And staying in the shade also helps staying cool, I did end up getting sunburned though.

Best looking corn around up in that field. Most corn isn't even knee high yet, what is still in the ground. Another storm went through Friday night and did a lot more damage. Club I shoot at on Thursdays got wiped out, likely not be throwing birds there for the rest of the summer. Take them that long just to put the road back in.

Last night grilled some salmon, shrimp, onions, and blistered cherry tomatoes on a cedar plank. With a small steak and corn on the cob. And water, been drinking a lot of water lately.

Life is good and can always be worse.

The wife and are just kicking back here at the Atlanta AP. Wedding was great yesterday but I had to question my step daughters’ reasoning to have an outdoor wedding, in Alabama, in July. At least it didn’t rain and the skeeters didn’t carry us away.

    That's it.

Yes sir. My wife's uncle was stationed there almost his entire 30-ish years.

Good afternoon from beautiful Deming, New Mexico.

Good afternoon, PERFECT weather here. Low 80s light breeze and clear skies. Putting slide out topper on camper. Caught a break. The gutter is also a keder rail. I just need to mount the the brackets on the slider:thumbsup:

Made it to Las Cruses for the night.

Another weird day. Stopped at Mc Donalds. Almost to the door in time to see an older gentleman fall down just inside the door and rang the plate glass with his head. Their staff reacted quickly and got the EMTs their and wisked him away to the hospital. Then we get here to the hotel and there's a fire engine and ambulance crew attending to a guest. While that's going on the manager is arguing with another guest who parked a 26' U-Haul in the back, just beyond the sign that says "No Commercial Vehicles or Moving Vans Beyond This Sign".

    Let's see how tomorrow goes.
