Don’t let the 29+ exterior fool you. In the right hands, the Stache is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They straight rip. Wish I hadn’t sold mine.

im ready to embrace this ride. Just riding on the street it feels super playful. It’s surprisingly light too. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun

All are true. In my opinion it’s one of the more underrated hardtails out there.

When we rode the White Rim outside Moab earlier this year, one of our guides rode a ‘Stache ... she thought it was the ideal bike for the that route. Enough squish from the tires to be comfortable and lots of traction for the loose climbs. The other two guides rode a Bronson and a 5010 which seemed a tad overkill, at least the Bronson, though I bet it was comfortable.

Are the bike strap/loops still more on the inside of the tailgate where they’re supposed to be?

Mine doesn’t have any usable bike retention straps ... though I think if anything they’d be more outside, since I rotated it so the latch opening is lower (further to the outside). I either just let the bikes sit there for short distances or use bungees for longer/bumpier trips.

Got a quick ride in this morning on the stache...holy shit is it a fun bike. I need to get a dropper and change out the grips and it will be perfect! I was surprised at how easy it is to manual...I can barely manual as it is haha

I’ll add my new to me budget bike to the current trek kick.

It isn’t the latest/greatest, or coolest, lowest/slackest; but it fit my needs just fine and is sure to bring smiles for miles and the years to come.

    Yeti sb100... It's a total ripper!

Also just like to introduce myself brand new to the group.

It's my first year riding, and I started out on an entry level hard tail and soon realized the fun of eBikes. I started off upgrading a used Ancheer eBike as I went, and it was super fun for 380$ and I learned a lot.

After developing a taste for eBikes, I decided to purchase a used 2019 RadRover for 1100$, total steal. 100 miles on it. The rover is super bulky and heavy, and I enjoy riding it more when I think of it as a pedal-friendly dirt bike more than a mountain bike. It handles pretty technical trails no problem, the only issue I have is getting it in the air on jumps or hopping it over/onto trail features, so I've been hitting the pump track to work on that. I love how plush the tires feel at low PSI!

I'm hoping to upgrade from my entry hardtail to a full suspension 29er so I can go harder on downhill single track and hit some real bike parks!

Congrats buddy! Stoked you found something that fits your needs and brings the smiles.

Welcome! Sweet ride, those new SB series are amazing bikes. Don't forget to join the T.W. Strava group if you're on there.

Ebikes are HUGE in Europe. So many people on them out there, the bike parks even a charging station on top for those who pedal up. Not exactly my cup of tea for a daily driver, but I've ridden some really fun ones that were super fun on the trails.

    DO IT!

Not a dad, but a friend of mine runs a WeeHoo and his kid loves it. Plus when he doesn't have a trailer and kid in tow, he is a uphill pedaling beast because of it!

    Plus you can do this:

Fact: All bikes are rad. Keep em comin!

Choosing a Bronson for XC duties is a crazy choice. My 160 forked Bronson is a bruiser when I take it on Gooseberry rides.

Ugh, there's a Stache 9.6 on sale for $1300 local. no new bikes...no new bikes...no new bikes...no new bikes...

    :annoyed:

Actually thinking of ditching my fat bike...or getting a new fork with some squish for it.
