As I was driving to work today, i had an outside of the box thought. For BSP Tacoma that want to have eyelids, why not tape off the headlight area you don't want tinted and tint the eyelid onto the headlight.

I don't think its ever been done, from my searches, but just a thought that I think someone with a BSP Tacoma could possibly do. What do you guys think?

^ I've already came up with something close to that idea. Thats a great idea but painting that area will be something non removable. I've got something thats removable and will come out 100%.

Working on it to my RETROS! :D

^ No. Its not Color eyelids per say. However it will be a SLEEPY even eyelid that flows with the grille. Since I have a BHLM with my Retros. I want to spice it up a little and offer protection.

I'll be done with it in a week. I'll snap pics.:D

i've thought about painting the eyelids directly on the headlights before...it is possible...i may still do it when I do my new retro setup...but we'll see...

Remember. If you don't like the way it comes out or change your mind in the future. Have fun taking it off.

^exactly...but at the same time at least you don't have to worry about anyone stealing your eyelids...lol

If you have them on. Its almost impossible to steal the eyelids unless you sit there with a heat gun for 10 minutes each side doing it. They're on there. its like a Bad EX Girlfriend. You have to scrape her off you to fully remove her for good.

Which is why I don't know if my set is going back on. They look a little warped, hopefully a little heat will help straighten them out.

Instead of paint though, you could use lens tint like what everybody uses on their tail lights and if you don't like it you could sand it off.
