OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

I would like a SC for the simplicity and cost savings but I thought when going FI you keep the gearing higher bc of the added torque? I see all these 4.88 and 5.29 gear guys wanting FI which would be to a disadvantage for mpg.

On my sc 2nd gen and 34” tires I am still on stock gearing. It’s fine on the highway and what not, tho the rpms are a little low with my other performance mods it holds its own. Offroading performance isnt the best with this gearing though.

Even if you regear you should be fine with FI, as a properly designed system will have bypass valves or pressure relief valves to bypass the boost when it’s not needed.

 

Ha you should see the amount of money I hemorrhage on my truck. Spouse is a-ok with it. Not putting us is a bind and we come first.

The anticipation is killing me.

 

Twin turbo kit setup is complete. We will be having our exhaust manufacture create a few manifold / downpipe sets.
Information on the setup will be available today if I can put it together.
Will fit 2x4 and 4x4 trucks.
Final location of the turbos is nice, makes install actually pretty easy,
Turbo kit price, HP / TQ / Boost specs will be available on our site, along with price and consideration of limited pre-order.

S/C kit is all done as well except a bracket modification

 

Is this a kit someone can install themselves if they have moderate mechanical skills?

Honestly the hardest part of the entire thing is getting the front bumper off, and the stock exhaust.

I'll let it slide being the only piece of chrome. Plus it will be mainly hidden behind my grill. Just enough shine to make you look twice at the crown jewel
