What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did the same, hadn't been down in a couple months, so overgrown! But the Taco handled the cabin access well and found this distillery is only 10 minutes from the turn off to the cabin, so future trips may require a detour en route.
Then took it camping in WV for a couple days, and finally got some time on the water!

Nice, another de-badge job. Take off the tailgate badge, paint it gray like the TDR
decal and reapply. I used a 3M product from Auto Zone to put my tailgate badge back and that was four years ago. Good job !

 

I have grey plastidip to do the remaining badge so it matches the wheels, just have to find the time to get it done

 

Installed fia rear seat covers.

Installed the afe Cai, and the Hurst core shifter. Next weekend it might be some speakers and a header!

 

I'm just gonna ask this here instead of starting a new thread for such a (probably for some of you) simple question....

I have my front emblem, and a few other parts around the grill plasti-dipped red. So I figured that was kind of temporary, even though it would probably outlast the truck...and now I'd like to go ahead and spray paint it right (and make it a little more glossy in the process).

Question is: Should I peel the derp off before spraying, or just paint over it? Or will the spray paint dissolve it, which would be bad? I'm leaning towards peeling it, just for the sake of doing the job right...just wondering if it would hurt to spray over.

Oh and I added SCS decals to my wheels a few days ago ... Can't decide if I like them or not. Thoughts?

 

Repaired a wheel stud that I managed to snap off while rotating my tires last weekend

 

I guess, I've only used them once. Installed them maybe two weeks ago.
