    In this day and age, with almost everything being politicised, from history to science, this isn't too surprising. Schools are constantly trying to stay out of the spotlight, but it's getting more difficult all the time. My wife's principal was obsessed with it, and she finally had so much that she quit. She starts at a new school next year in one of the most rural parts of the state (rural schools tend to be run more "old school" than urban and suburban schools). Hopefully she can stop playing the subservient babysitter to parents and actually use her graduate degree and national accreditation to EDUCATE.
