Hey Jake on the tethering, do you have to pay to use it like you would on the X or is it free? That LauncherPro mimics the HTC home screen layout right?

 

about the tethering i think its free.

and launcher pro.... sorta but it also has its own themes too

Am I the only one that thinks Droid isn't very good? I got the Samsung Captivate and it crashes ALL THE TIME! and I loose everything but my contacts.


I cant do other things on it like I can with the iPhone.... I'm about to sell it and get the iPhone 4. I'm an iPhone user always will be

might just be yours, you could return it and get a new one, like a replacement. mine has been pretty good so far. but i do like the iphones too, im not biased

 

Its a brand new phone though. I think I still have the warranty on it. I am iPhone biased..

i would love an X or droid 2 for a little more speed but i think thats my fault with all my themes and shizz

Got my Droid X updated to 2.2 with the Leaked Update and its sweeeet. the chrome to phone is really cool. It is definitely more snappy with 2.2.

Its a leaked update. You can perform it on a stock DX. Check www.androidforums.com in the droid x section.

Ordered my X a few days ago. the wait is killing me. I can't wait to be rid of my IPhone and AT&T's terrible customer service.

Already have 2.2 froyo leak downloaded, will probably have it rooted within 5 minutes of opening the package. Anythin else I should look into for squeezing the last bit of power out of it?

Customization will come after I'm done being wow'd by it's speed and usability, especially free tethering.
