the part that has the lumbar adjuster, the mid piece
the parts guy told me ALL the seat parts are sold separately
and Amanda at Camelback told me there is but one piece in the whole country she can locate and would have to get Special Permission to release it
this is what she told me
so Ima screwed for the time being if it is beyond repair!

you gotta git rid of both of them together or separately?
    what's your cost for that

the new part needed is over $200 if they release it out to me, which I doubt they will but never know

I was pretty close to buying a set of seats in the wrong color, then thinking those nice seat covers would be the way to go. Until I looked at the price of those "nice" seatcovers. What I wanted from GT covers was gonna be like $350 for fake leather. An entry level set of covers from wet okole was $260. All the cheaper options looked like crap, was way to baggy. I decided to wait and find a set of seats in the right color and Im glad I did. On the days where Im absolutely soaked in sweat or come off the mtb trails I have a bath towel that I use as a seat cover.

Just whatever you do, keep the side plastic trim on the seats. Do not sell seperately. You can make more money if the seat has them and they're in good shape.

Thanks man, I'll check into what's compatible between the seats themselves to see if there are any other options/possibilities to make yours work

I will admit, those fake leather covers were tempting. And I may still do it later down the road, but I couldn't justify it right now.
