In all seriousness should I weld upside down or hook my trailer to the tractor bucket and weld at 90 degrees ? Is it worth it ? I never tried welding upside down. Any tricks to it ? I would have to weld outside. How much will the wind effect the argon/Co2?

 

Avoid welding overhead if you can. Gravity is a bitch against the weld puddle.

Wind can cause porosity. Just crank up the CFH, or use some flux wire.

 

I got an AMAZON apron the other day for truck work. Came in clutch when my buddy was helping me. Sometimes you can’t avoid holding the grinder in such a way that an entire storm of sparks shoots basically towards your manhood. The apron provided him with protection at that moment. & then I used it too, it’s ok to reuse protection like that, right?
