First boat is under power but the seas are so rough it looks like it's going no where like the last video of the destroyer/frigate. Also looks like it's self correcting, if you look towards the rear of the ship you can see a balast blowing. I'm sure the puddle pirates can jump in here and explain more or correct me.

Shitty Kitty FTMFW! Been through stuff like that on the Abraham Lincoln.

That's some of the scariest (to me) chit I've seen in a long time. One of my biggest fears in the world.

That's the reason I've turned down a cruise before, and everyone says "dude, the ship is huge... you can't even feel that you're on the water" pffft... where do you swim to (assuming you get out) if that thing goes over?!

    Eff that noise.

haha ive been on one once... you CAN feel it... i got sea sick just being on the boat in port! it was one of the Carnival ships as well so that ship was massive. Its weird when you get on land, you are used to the motion so you feel like your swaying on land.

In that crap, they're most likely just maintaining headway speed or not much more so passengers aren't bouncing off the bulkheads. Guess it wasn't working out so well, eh?

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
I was on the USS Spruance, which was a destroyer. We've been through seas like the vid of the kitty hawk. It was like a roller coaster. After the bow came out of the water, it would slam back in and shudder. It was fun, when I wasn't trying to work.
I do miss my ship. Best guys I ever worked with, and the best night's sleep I ever got.

I wouldn't even worry about that. The cruise ship that Bob showed was very small.

Two years ago, my wife and I were on the Azmara Journey heading back towards Cape Liberty, New Jersey from Bermuda when we hit a nor'easter coming up the east coast. We were riding 20-22 foot swells along with 60 mph winds. I was on the balcony of our 8th floor room mid-ship smoking cigars getting hit by water coming off the bow of the ship. My wife was scared to death along with most of the passengers on the ship.

I thought it was so cool !!!!

You have to think "when was the last time you heard of a cruise ship sinking ?".....Titanic ?

There are plenty of life boats on the ship to save you.

I am a big believer in cruising as a vacation. Where can you go to so many different places and have to unpack and pack just once ?

X2. I was on a ship in the Bahamas, and we were leaving port. I was at the rear, as I like seeing the shit the props stir up on the bottom. Welp....The ship was a little over loaded, and dragging the bottom. THe whole thing was shuddering. A gall was screaming to her boyfriend/husband "WHAT IF WE SINK!!??"...I looked over at her and said "So what? Were already hitting the bottom. I guess we'll get off, and get on another ship". At which pooint she thought about it a little more.

I was just on this ship in June! That's the Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in thew world. This pic is of it when they first "floated" it. It looks a whole lot better now. One BIG party too...:D
