    Grab the whole drivetrain. Front diff would be bombproof in the taco, and rear axle as well. Should be able to keep wheel speed sensors so the speedo I happy, and nitro is releasing 5.29 gearing

    Yeah mine went last year, same symptom... my head was perfectly fine, never over heated and warped etc so just had to replace the gasket. Went ahead and replaced the radiator, water pump and all pulleys too.

    Currently in the same situation. Starting to see all the symptoms and confirmed with bubbling in the expansion tank. Never overheated and highly doubt it’s warped so going to do the gaskets. Did you do the work yourself? And if so how bad of a job was it?

    I had a local shop do it, it’s a pretty big job. I replaced radiator, water pump and all pulleys at the same time too. It’s a big job but if you have a second vehicle you could DIY it...my back up vehicle was a rental.

    New (used) motor going in today. Replaced everything. New radiator, thermostat, water pump, hoses, ps pump, alternator, etc. Waiting on idler pulley tomorrow.
