Do our spare tires have TPMS sensors? I'm looking into getting a full size spare to match my 275/70/17s which nets out to around 32.2" would that be able to fit under there? Anything else I need to plan for? Thanks for the help!

Some do some don’t only way to tell is to drop the spare and look at the stem. Or have someone with a tpms tool scan for one.

Mine does, kind of sucks because the max pressure on my spare is lower than my tires...

Only the earlier second gens did. I don’t remember exact years but yours definitely doesn’t as a 2014.

Yes you can fit that size tire under the bed. May need to hammer the little spare tire ears flat but that’s easy.

A little of this and a little of that.
My 2011 & 2013 trucks didn’t have TPMS on the spares.
I’m pretty sure that you can fit a 275/70/17 in the spare tire well.

No it didn’t. Toyota hasn’t had a tpms in the spare in almost 10 years.

What kind of crazy pressures are you running? Any standard truck tire can run the tire pressures appropriate for a Tacoma.

Even though mines an 09 it didn’t come with it either. I have an matching 285 75 16 as a spare. It’s tight but does fit.

I just did this last week, same size tire. It does fit. There are some brackets that hang down for guiding the original size tire, the larger tire will rub on this but shouldn’t be an issue. You can knock them back if it bothers you.

I have another question along the lines of spare tires, now that I'm lifted an extra 3" I think my stock tire jack wont reach up to the frame anymore, and I dont have rocksliders to use a hi-lift for, what are you lifted guys using for jacks?

Stock jack with a piece of 2x4 will lift it up enough.
