So the spi run stats that the San Antonio group will be leaving 5:30 am is this Saturday or Friday morning cause I've seen alot of people posting there leaving Friday afternoon

Anybody with 3rd gen that would like a black Meso minimalist key fob. Bought 2 when they came out but got a white one for the 4th of July sale he had going. Hasn't even been open. Will come with a set of black and red buttons. Thought I would ask here first before posting in classified. $30

 

Well, except for having to go back, this was on of my "old time mods" (where nothing visible takes place!). Fortunately, I stopped over at Lowe's nearby, and when I started it up to leave, the radio display changed to a bunch of gauges! And there was a message about OBDII being disconnected. I didn't know my radio even cared, and I would have really loved the gauges - except they didn't work, and wouldn't go away. So I went back, and the kid discovered he had kicked the plug loose from the port.
So, he plugged it back in and .

However since the balance was bad after I left on Friday they are getting mine done in the next hour.

 

sorry to hear that. With my 1:00 PM appointment, I was out by 2:00. I did have to go back for a minute because the kid foot knocked the OBD connection, when he brought it out for delivery.... But I was only a minute away.

 

Its all good. They got me out of there in 45 minutes cause the guy who helped me on Friday recognized me and told the manager about why I was there.

 

Great. They try to be good like that. Yes, it took a half hour to get the truck in, but only a half hour to get it out. They look in their computer, and when they find you, you are like "top of the list". That will work in Iowa too!

 

Yeah it's why I always go there for tires. The discount in my home town was like that as well

 

Can't say that I loved buying 4 TPMS, but they were all original, and the fact that they charge a flat $60 to remove, install, replace, and rebalance in a thing that pops up here all the time. They might be a chain, but they work hard for the customer.

 

Yeah, its a little pricey but I do like that they warranty everything they do

 

Actually, cheapest price around anywhere. It's a courtesy price to bring you back. And it works.

I meant more for tires. Back home before the owner died, there was a tire shop that was like half the price of discount. Tires probably "fell" off the back of the truck but the price savings were too good to ignore. Only thing was that would still charge you for rotating/balancing and any fixes

 

You might find that shop somewhere is Iowa my friend! I was a teen (no you don't want to know) when Discount Tire opened their shop in Kalamazoo! Used them until FINALLY they opened that shop in San Marcos. Their computer shows me as a customer since 1985, at the same address and everything. I get treated pretty damn well considering the current state of the "service world".
