2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma body mount relocation kit

While I’m not a welder. I do have a guy that does my welding for fab stuff. So having seen what master welders beads look like. Those in the pics are horrendous. My worry would the lack of welding surface and it not being boxed. But god idea for those wanting to stuff big tires on their truck.

 

I don’t think it’s welded everywhere it needs to be.. at least not in the pics before paint.

Im curious as to what you did with your side board mount. It appears you cut off the front mount since the new body mount is now in its location

 

I am currently running this style and are terrified of it punching through the frame. Have a set of drt mounts ready to go on. The drt mounts use a plate that welds to the frame first to spread the load.

 

Just going to chime in and say there’s a reason we’ve sold 1000s of CMRs
