    Awesome shots, Ben!

And I tried that too, but got blocked by snow well before 10k. :pout:

And your're crazy, Dan. I beat the shit out of my truck driving fast etc, but I will not hit a puddle or creek at speed after watching someone almost hydrolock their engine doing that.

hahahaha, I've done it a few times - enough to know it'll be OK. I wasn't really going that fast. Air box was dry after that one. Definitely surprised everyone though, got a good laugh out of that.

    Really, I was just trying to out-do @m3bassman. I don't think I succeeded.

I saw it happen to a 2nd gen but he had removed his fender liners for larger tires, leaving the stock intake completely exposed to whatever the tires kicked up. Sucked up a bunch of water and stalled out halfway through the stream. He got really lucky it started up after letting it sit awhile, the air filter seemed to have caught enough of the water (was drenched).

Now that’s an interesting spot for that compressor and the Bussman box. I’ve been looking for a good spot to mount a fusebox.

dropped off truck at the LineX shop for an 'overnighter'
chose to go with the top premium coat so the material won't become lighter due to fading
for a black truck i just don't think a liner that is lighter (faded) would look too swell

Wildwood makes one thats the same metric thread pitch as your truck, thats what I used same price as well. You can get it and a short 90* from summit for a good deal.as well.

You don't need the clutch in cruise mode, just float it in between gears.

Just rev matching, going up in gears is easy, just timing to get it all to mesh without the clutch. Going down is a bit tougher, gotta blip the throttle to the approximate right area and feel it out. Just something you get used to. I don't use the clutch on the highway hardly ever.

It's fun and if you learn to do it right you shave lots of time off shifts when you use the clutch too. Most people can't heel toe a downshift, saves lots of wear though
