It's probably worth at least moving to off topic since his initial inquiry has been resolved.

Why do you say good and evil doesn't apply to nature? Maybe we have different definitions or interpretations about what is good and evil. Or perhaps you see animals too much as objects, and as a result might not view good and evil as existing in something that you might view as just a thing. There's a spirit, feel, or quality to good and evil that I have observed in humans, and I've noticed these in animals also. There's a lot yet to be understood about the nature of consciousness and spiritual realm, if that's the term, and again, we may be defining concepts differently so I don't want to get too deeply into a discussion about complex terms when we may have different definition. I'm not a religious person, but I've come to realize that there does indeed appear to be a division between powerful good and evil forces. It's an ancient idea and I would not have believed it unless I observed it myself. I think you, and many others who think predators are a needed part of nature view the world too much as what it is rather than what it should be. I've already discussed some of this in other posts so don't want to keep repeating it. But at the same time there's much to be said, and much left unsaid.

Please don’t make assumptions about how i draw circles, Bob. I consistently draw perfect circles with my protractor on a daily basis. PERFECT circles. Your condoning of half-assed behavior is part of the problem. You can’t say that you’re 5’ 9” if you’re 5’ 8 1/2”.

Because "good" and "evil" are human constructs. Nothing in nature is inherently good or evil.

Hey there, did you ever come up with a rational response to the "research" of yours that I commented on in your other thread? Did you ever get around to reading the material on the links that you posted?

No you don't and you missed the point. Half assing matters when your goal has complex criteria for quality. Not killing animals is not killing animals. Killing one animal is not the same as killing one thousand animals. You can't fail when your goal is to not kill animals. If Veganism were somehow killing more animals, then yes, the goal of killing less animals would be a complete failure.

I don't see how that's the case here. You can make the choice to not eat animals or buy animal byproducts when possible, unless you're equating burning fossil fuels to an animal byproduct?

Let's use dieting as an example. If you decide to eat healthier, but every now and then your donut weakness gets the best of you; do you stop eating healthy altogether? Do you just say "I fucked up my diet, might as well start eating all the unhealthy things for all my meals."?

Well vegans eat plants and the majority of hydrocarbons are from plants, so I really dont see an issue here unless you're just stirring the pot. You aren't taking the life of a living creature to drive your truck to the beach.

Hey Sir. I had read all those links. As I recall I told you, those were old links that I had gathered from a while back. They're not the most recent, and lots of new info has been coming out periodically. But yes, I read all of them before.
