Likely coulda but the bear found more taster food than my scrawny ass that mornin’.

 

My best friend's dad when hunting for Caribou in Alaska and he was rushed by a 400 lb grizzly bear and he put three rounds into it with a bolt action 308 rifle and didn't drop it he was lucky cuz a ranger heard him screaming and ran to his aid and the ranger pull like 4 44 mag rounds into the bear finally killed it

 

That’s why I just can’t get my head around guys that go out after ‘em with a bow. Damn gutsy but definitely not for me.

 

I think it's mandatory for you to carry a sidearm if you go hunting in Alaska now

 

I almost got one with the rental Tacoma, up by Whistler..

 

This was walkin’ to work in Jasper, Alberta. Loaded galvanized garbage can flew by me like a beer can @ 90MPH. Side of it was clawed wide open. I looked when I went home the following day.

Damn hitting a bear is an instant total I bet

 

Moose are far worse. We loose plenty of folks each year hittin’ Moose.

 

Damn that's scary to hit a wild animal and get killed from it no thank you

 

A wild pig hit me in the Prius and I thought I'd God damn train hit me

 

I was more worried I would wound it and have a very upset and scared bear looking at me with some serious survial insticts.

 

Run to the nearest tree and climb as fast as you can
