Forgo the foam, it's a joke. If and when the sensor goes bad, simply take it in and get the NEW sensor.
That's my plan. The brilliance is in it's simplicity.. lol

Yea that sort of my plan too, I'd just like a new sensor. I am HOPING that since it through the disable icon in the rain, that the current sensor is storing error codes and hopefully that'll push them to just swap it out.

op i am sure it will be quick fix. All these new cars and trucks have a certain amount of possible issues missed and they all have quirks due to brand and set up.

Let me know about the clunk when coming to a stop. Mine did it when I first got it but it’s been a while since I noticed it happening. Would like to know what they say about it

Soon, your Entune Bluetooth will stop working correctly and your TSS will act erratically!

Tell me about it. Eleven. I landed on the handlebar post of my Schwinn stingray bicycle trying a jump of a ramp in a new Putt Putt construction site. Straight on my nuts. Voice still a little high.

Ah, mine came on in the rain the other day too, I thought it was just warning me that I can't expect TSS to help me in the rain, you know, for liability reasons...?...

I think he should take it to the dealership. What do you think? Dealership?

.... yeah definitely the dealership... they’ll know what to do at the dealership.

I've been in rain storms before, and never had any issues. Last week though I was caught in a nasty torrential downpour for about 20-30 mins (I had to pull over for 5-10 mins as visibility was zilch at one point.) This was the worst rain I had been in with the truck, and this was the only time the disable icon appeared (so far).

I always read thess posts and think, "Wow. I must have gotten the truck that was built by Rolls Royce. I have none of these recurring issues." Then I :notsure: and go about my day. Because, at the end of the day, I'll continue to buy Toyota products because they're so damn reliable.

I realize all cars and trucks have recalls and problems. I was just telling my experience. I had to replace a window motor in my 1983 Lincoln this past weekend. I thought it would last more than 36 years.
